How to Use
1. Remove the inhaler from its sealed tray immediately before first use.
2. Open the cover by sliding it down until you hear a 'click'.
3. Inhale deeply and steadily through the mouthpiece. Do not block the air vents.
4. Hold your breath for about 3-4 seconds, or as long as comfortable.
5. Exhale slowly and gently.
6. Close the cover by sliding it up until it clicks into place.
7. Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after each dose to reduce the risk of oral thrush.
8. Check the dose counter to ensure the dose has been taken; it will count down by one.
Caution & Warnings
- Trelegy Ellipta is for maintenance treatment only and should not be used for the relief of acute bronchospasm.
- Do not exceed the prescribed once-daily dosage.
- Inform your doctor about all medical conditions, especially heart problems, high blood pressure, diabetes, glaucoma, or seizures.
- Patients should be monitored for signs of pneumonia, especially if new or worsening symptoms occur.
- Regularly rinse your mouth after use to prevent oral candidiasis (thrush).
