How to Use Seroflo 250 Accuhaler
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. It is crucial to read the patient information leaflet carefully before the first use for detailed instructions specific to the Accuhaler device.
- Slide the outer casing open to reveal the mouthpiece.
- Hold the Accuhaler with the mouthpiece towards you.
- Push the lever away from you as far as it will go until you hear a click. This action primes the dose.
- Exhale fully away from the inhaler, emptying your lungs as much as comfortable.
- Place the mouthpiece firmly between your lips and close your lips tightly around it.
- Inhale steadily and deeply through the mouth, as quickly and forcefully as you can.
- Remove the inhaler from your mouth and hold your breath for about 10 seconds or as long as comfortable.
- Breathe out slowly away from the inhaler.
- Close the Accuhaler by sliding the outer casing back towards you until it clicks. The dose counter will advance.
- After each use, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out. This helps prevent oral fungal infections (thrush).
