How to Use

1. SACVALY tablets are for oral administration only.
2. Take one tablet twice daily, preferably at the same times each day.
3. Tablets can be taken with or without food.
4. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water; do not crush, break, or chew it.
5. Always follow your doctor's prescribed dosage and instructions carefully. Do not adjust the dose without consulting your healthcare provider.
6. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

Caution & Warnings

• Angioedema: Do not use SACVALY if you have a history of angioedema with previous ACE inhibitor or ARB treatment.
• Pregnancy: Not recommended during pregnancy as it can cause harm to the unborn baby. Effective contraception is advised for women of childbearing potential.
• Hypotension: May cause symptomatic hypotension, especially in patients who are volume-depleted or on high-dose diuretics.
• Renal Impairment: Monitor kidney function regularly, especially in patients with pre-existing renal issues.
• Hyperkalemia: Monitor serum potassium levels, especially in patients with renal impairment or those taking potassium-sparing diuretics or potassium supplements.
• Concomitant Use: Avoid concomitant use with ACE inhibitors. A washout period of at least 36 hours is required between discontinuing an ACE inhibitor and initiating SACVALY.
• Liver Impairment: Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
• Children: The safety and effectiveness in pediatric patients have not been established.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
