How to Use Pharmafix PU:
- 1. Ensure the wound area is clean and completely dry before application.
- 2. Cut the desired length of Pharmafix PU from the roll, allowing sufficient overlap around the wound.
- 3. Carefully peel back the release paper from the adhesive side of the film.
- 4. Apply the dressing gently over the wound, ensuring it adheres smoothly to the skin without stretching.
- 5. Smooth out any wrinkles or air bubbles from the center outwards to ensure full contact.
- 6. Remove the remaining protective paper or liner from the top surface of the dressing, leaving only the transparent film.
- 7. Press the edges firmly to ensure a secure seal.
Caution & Warnings:
- Do not apply Pharmafix PU under tension, as this may cause skin damage or blistering.
- Discontinue use immediately if any signs of allergic reaction, redness, irritation, or discomfort occur.
- Avoid using on visibly infected wounds unless under direct medical supervision and with appropriate antimicrobial treatment.
- Pharmafix PU is for single use only. Do not re-sterilize or reuse.
- If the wound shows signs of infection (increased pain, redness, swelling, pus, fever), consult a healthcare professional immediately.
