• Leukocytosis: Close monitoring of white blood cell counts is essential during treatment.
• Thrombocytopenia: Monitor platelet counts, especially in patients with pre-existing low platelet levels.
• Tumor Cell Mobilization: Plerixafor may mobilize tumor cells in some patients with leukemia.
