How to Use

4. Closely monitor the patient for any adverse reactions, signs of fluid overload, or electrolyte imbalances during and after the infusion.

Caution & Warnings

• Do not use if the solution is not clear, if the seal is broken, or if the bag is damaged.

• Administer with extreme caution to patients with congestive heart failure, severe renal insufficiency, cirrhosis, or conditions that may cause sodium retention with edema.

• Monitor fluid balance, serum electrolyte concentrations, and acid-base balance periodically during prolonged parenteral therapy or whenever the patient's condition warrants such evaluation.

• Risk of fluid overload, pulmonary edema, and electrolyte imbalance (e.g., hypernatremia) especially with rapid or excessive administration.

• Not for direct intramuscular administration.

• Discard any unused portion after opening. Do not reconnect partially used bags.

• Keep out of reach of children and store as directed.
