How to Use

Caution & Warnings

- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to propofol or any component of the emulsion (e.g., soy, egg).
- Not recommended for obstetrical anesthesia, or in children under 1 month for general anesthesia or under 16 years for ICU sedation.
- Prolonged infusion at high doses, especially in children, may lead to Propofol Infusion Syndrome (PRIS).
- Risk of pain on injection; may be alleviated by co-administration with lidocaine or injection into larger veins.
