How to Use
- Determine your dosage: If you smoke 20 or more cigarettes a day, start with 2mg lozenges. If you smoke less than 20 cigarettes a day, or have completed initial treatment with 2mg lozenges, use 1mg lozenges.
- Suck slowly: Place the lozenge in your mouth and allow it to dissolve slowly. Do not chew or swallow the lozenge whole.
- Move the lozenge: Move the lozenge from one side of your mouth to the other periodically until it is completely dissolved (this usually takes about 20-30 minutes).
- Do not eat or drink: Avoid eating or drinking while a lozenge is in your mouth.
- Frequency: Use 1 lozenge every 1-2 hours initially. Do not use more than 1 lozenge at a time, and do not exceed 25 lozenges (1mg) per day.
- Gradual reduction: Gradually reduce the number of lozenges you use daily over a period of up to 3 months.
