Product Overview

Femoston 2/10 MG 28 Tablets is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) specifically formulated for women experiencing symptoms of menopause. It combines two female hormones, estradiol and dydrogesterone, to effectively manage menopausal symptoms and provide bone protection.

How to Use

1. Take one tablet daily, typically at the same time each day, without interruption between packs.
2. The regimen is continuous combined, meaning you take an estradiol-only tablet for the first 14 days and then an estradiol/dydrogesterone tablet for the next 14 days of a 28-day cycle. Always follow your doctor's instructions.
3. Swallow the tablet whole with water. It can be taken with or without food.
4. If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is more than 12 hours late. If it is more than 12 hours late, skip the missed tablet and continue with the next dose at the usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.

Caution & Warnings

• Consult your doctor before starting Femoston, especially if you have a history of breast cancer, blood clots (DVT or pulmonary embolism), liver disease, or unexplained vaginal bleeding.
• Regular medical check-ups, including breast examinations and mammograms, are recommended during HRT.
• Inform your doctor about all other medications you are taking, including herbal remedies, as they may interact with Femoston.
• Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Stop taking Femoston and contact your doctor immediately if you experience severe headaches, chest pain, sudden vision changes, or signs of a blood clot (e.g., painful swelling in one leg).

Ingredients

Each tablet contains Estradiol hemihydrate equivalent to 2 mg Estradiol and Dydrogesterone 10 mg.
Other ingredients include lactose monohydrate, hypromellose, maize starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium stearate.
The film coating contains titanium dioxide (E171), iron oxide red (E172), iron oxide yellow (E172), macrogol 400, and talc.
