How to Use
1. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the ointment.
2. Cleanse the treatment area on your face or scalp before application.
3. Apply a thin layer of STAQUIS 2% Ointment to the affected area once daily for 5 consecutive days.
4. Gently rub the ointment until it is evenly distributed.
5. Allow the ointment to dry completely before touching the treated area.
6. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and inside the nose. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
Caution & Warnings
- Local skin reactions such as redness, peeling, scaling, crusting, swelling, and itching are common and expected during treatment. These reactions are typically mild to moderate and resolve after treatment.
- Avoid exposure to natural or artificial sunlight (e.g., tanning beds) during treatment and for a period after, as STAQUIS may increase sensitivity to light. Use sun protection, including protective clothing and broad-spectrum sunscreen, when outdoors.
- Do not apply to open wounds, broken skin, or mucous membranes.
- STAQUIS is for external use only. Do not swallow.
- Consult your doctor if irritation persists, worsens, or if you experience severe blistering or ulceration.
