- Inform your doctor about any pre-existing medical conditions, especially kidney disease, epilepsy, or a history of tendon problems.
- Fluoroquinolones, including Noroxin, have been associated with an increased risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture. Discontinue use and contact your doctor immediately if you experience pain, swelling, or inflammation of a tendon.
- May cause dizziness, lightheadedness, or drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight or artificial UV light while taking this medication, as it may increase sensitivity to light (photosensitivity).
- Not recommended for use in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless absolutely necessary and prescribed by a doctor.
