How to Use

3. For osteoarthritis, the usual recommended dose is 30 mg or 60 mg once a day.
4. For rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, the usual recommended dose is 60 mg or 90 mg once a day.
5. For acute gout, the recommended dose is 120 mg once a day, which should only be used for the acute painful period, limited to a maximum of 8 days.
6. For pain after dental surgery, the recommended dose is 90 mg once a day, limited to a maximum of 3 days.
7. Your doctor will determine the appropriate dose and duration of treatment based on your condition and response.

Caution & Warnings

• Before taking Lotac 90 mg, inform your doctor if you have a history of heart problems (e.g., heart failure, angina, heart attack, bypass surgery), high blood pressure, stroke, kidney disease, liver disease, or stomach ulcers/bleeding.
• Do not take Lotac if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, unless specifically advised by your doctor.
• NSAIDs, including Etoricoxib, may increase the risk of serious cardiovascular thrombotic events, myocardial infarction, and stroke, which can be fatal. This risk may increase with duration of use and in patients with pre-existing cardiovascular disease.
• Lotac may cause gastrointestinal adverse events including bleeding, ulceration, and perforation of the stomach or intestines, which can be fatal. These events can occur at any time during use and without warning symptoms.
• Use with caution in elderly patients, as they may be more susceptible to adverse effects.
• Avoid concurrent use with other NSAIDs or aspirin, unless directed by your physician.
• If you experience any adverse reactions such as severe stomach pain, black stools, swelling of ankles, chest pain, or difficulty breathing, stop taking the medication and seek immediate medical attention.
