Formulated with Latanoprost, a prostaglandin F2-alpha analogue, this sterile eye drop works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humor from the eye, thereby lowering pressure and helping to preserve vision.
Product Details
Latanocom 0.005% Ophthalmic Solution is provided in a convenient 2.5ml dropper container, ensuring precise and hygienic application. Each milliliter of solution contains 50 micrograms of Latanoprost, equivalent to 0.005% (w/v).

How to Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the eye drops.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Hold the dropper above the eye and instil one drop into the affected eye(s) once daily, preferably in the evening.
- Close your eye gently and press a finger on the inner corner of your eye for 1-2 minutes to prevent the medication from draining out.
- Avoid touching the dropper tip to your eye or any other surface to prevent contamination.
- If you wear contact lenses, remove them before instilling the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
- If using other ophthalmic medications, wait at least 5 minutes between applications.
Caution & Warnings
- For ophthalmic use only. Do not swallow.
- May cause gradual changes in eye color, specifically increased brown pigmentation of the iris, which may be permanent.
- Eyelid skin darkening may occur and may be reversible.
- Increased growth, thickness, pigmentation, and number of eyelashes may occur and may be reversible.
- Patients should be examined regularly for any changes in iris pigmentation.
- Use with caution in patients with a history of intraocular inflammation (iritis/uveitis).
- Do not use if the solution changes color or becomes cloudy.
- Do not share this medication with others.
- Consult your doctor immediately if you experience persistent eye irritation, pain, redness, or vision changes.
- Keep out of reach of children.
