Caution & Warnings
- Do not use in patients with a history of allergic reactions to human albumin preparations or any of the excipients.
- Administer with caution in patients with cardiac insufficiency, severe anemia, or chronic renal insufficiency, as rapid infusion can lead to circulatory overload.
- Observe for signs of hypersensitivity reactions, including urticaria, rash, flushing, nausea, vomiting, or fever. Discontinue infusion immediately if such symptoms occur.
- Monitor for signs of hypervolemia or fluid overload, especially in patients at risk for cardiac or renal decompensation.
- This product is derived from human plasma. While measures are taken to reduce the risk of pathogen transmission, the possibility of transmitting infectious agents cannot be entirely excluded.
- Do not use if the solution appears turbid or contains particulates.
