Caution & Warnings

Please observe the following cautions and warnings when using FLUCO-SOL:

• Hypersensitivity: Do not use in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluconazole, other azole antifungals, or any excipients.
• Drug Interactions: Concurrent use with terfenadine, astemizole, cisapride, pimozide, or quinidine is contraindicated due to the risk of QT prolongation and serious cardiac arrhythmias. Caution is advised with other drugs metabolized by CYP3A4 and CYP2C9.
• Hepatic Effects: Fluconazole has been associated with rare cases of serious hepatotoxicity, including fatalities. Liver function should be monitored in patients receiving FLUCO-SOL.
• Renal Impairment: Dosage adjustments may be necessary in patients with impaired renal function.
