How to Use
- Wash your hands thoroughly before handling the eye drops.
- Tilt your head back and gently pull down your lower eyelid to form a pocket.
- Hold the bottle upside down with the tip near your eye, but not touching it.
- Gently squeeze the bottle to release one drop into the affected eye(s).
- Close your eye for a few seconds and apply gentle pressure to the inner corner of your eye (near the nose) to prevent the medication from draining out.
- If a second drop is needed, wait at least 5-10 minutes before applying to allow the first drop to absorb.
- If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5-10 minutes between applications.
- Administer one drop twice daily, approximately 12 hours apart, or as directed by your physician.
Caution & Warnings
- For ophthalmic use only. Do not swallow.
- Do not use if you are allergic to Brimonidine Tartrate or any other ingredients in the solution.
- Remove contact lenses before applying the drops and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
- To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip to any surface, including the eye or hands.
- Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding before using this medication.
- Brimo 0.2% Ophthalmic Solution may cause fatigue or drowsiness. Exercise caution when driving or operating machinery.
- Inform your doctor about all other medications you are currently using, including over-the-counter drugs, herbal supplements, and other eye drops.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.
Ingredients
Each mL contains Brimonidine Tartrate 0.2% (2 mg/mL).
Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride.
Other inactive ingredients include purified water, sodium chloride, sodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, and hydrochloric acid/sodium hydroxide for pH adjustment.
